Welcome to Full Immersions. Full Immersion Virtual Reality is the end-game of current augmented reality and virtual reality technologies. Currently, virtual reality is a technology which allows a user to interact with a computer-simulated environment. This environment is either a simulation of the real world or it could be an imaginary world. Most current virtual reality environments are primarily visual experiences, but some virtual reality applications include other sensory information, such as sound and tactile information.
In the future, full immersion virtual reality will be so “real” that the person in VR won’t be able to distinguish it from the physical world. Full Immersion Virtual Reality is the end-game of current augmented reality and virtual reality technologies. Currently, virtual reality is a technology which allows a user to interact with a computer-simulated environment. This environment is either a simulation of the real world or it could be an imaginary world. Most current virtual reality environments are primarily visual experiences, but some virtual reality applications include other sensory information, such as sound and tactile information. The above we classify as stage one VR (of 3 stages – each about a decade apart).
Stage two (2020s) VR is still external to the body – where people experience 3-D virtual reality through glasses and contact lenses that beam images directly to their retinas. Coupled with headphones, users can remotely communicate with other people and access the Internet.
Stage three (2030s) fullly immersive VR is now internal. Nanomachines would be directly inserted into the brain and interact with brain cells to totally control incoming and outgoing signals. This means full immersion virtual reality without any external equipment. Afferent nerve pathways could be blocked, totally canceling out the “real” world and leaving the user with only the desired virtual experience. Virtual reality worlds? What exactly is it?
I keep hearing refrences to virtual worlds where you can be anything and anybody, basically have a life on a game? or virtual world? What is it exactly? And anybody know any good sites i could visit?

It really depends, some people use virtual worlds just to socialize, playing games but others make it their second life, and creating an avatar how they want to look like, in some virtual worlds you can have even sexual tension. So it really depends, whatever you want to do because everything is possible.
